RAGMAKAMTAR version 6 Version 5 was a transition to version 6 which shifts to the rounded back concept. This version uses a hard paper mache back because the shape is irregular. Version 6 is used on each track of Edward`s new CD PILGRIM (recorded in Cairo 2010). |

RAGMAKAMTAR version 8 Verson 8 has a single neck but the body and soundboard shape is regular and symmetrical. The asymmetrical visual impression comes as a result of the neck being attached at an angle to the body's center line. |
